How will GitGrid work?+
The connected version will create one dedicated private repository, then make small commits there according to the density, daily range, and schedule you choose. The preview above is local and does not connect to GitHub yet.
Will it change my existing repositories?+
No. The product contract is intentionally narrow: GitGrid writes only to the private repository it creates. Existing repositories remain outside its write boundary.
Can I control how the activity looks?+
Yes. Density, minimum and maximum commits per day, weekend inclusion, past backfilling, future scheduling, randomization, and individual planned days are all separate controls.
Can I preview before connecting GitHub?+
Yes. The planner on this page is intentionally local-first. It generates a representative history in your browser so you can test the shape and controls without granting account access.
What will GitGrid cost?+
Early access is planned at $1 per month for ongoing activity, with a one-time $1 fee for each historical year backfilled. Billing is not connected in this build.
